The Königsrunde in Lackenhof via the well-known, technically demanding "Rauhen Kamm" to the summit and via the Ötscherschutzhaus and the ski slope back to the village.
From the starting point, the trail initially leads gently undulating and slightly uphill through forests and meadows to Raneck, from where you continue through the Juckfidelwald forest. The ascent through the beech forest then becomes steeper and is hard on the calves before you reach the Jausenplatzl at the start of the Rauhen Kamm. The trail leads north along the ridge, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mostviertel. A single cemented iron bar helps you over the key section, but you still need your hands to keep your balance in places. From the exit, it's another 500m on the high plateau...wonderful to walk...to the summit.
The downhill section follows the hiking trail to the Hüttenkogl and the Ötscherschutzhaus, before the second part of the downhill section crosses the ski slope again and again and leads back to the Weitental valley to the starting point on the easy, alternately steep hiking trail.
