Beautiful forest tour with refreshment stop at the Mandlbodenhütte.
The route leads alternately through the forest and across meadows and clearings. At the end of the loop, you cross the cross-country ski trail directly at the Mandlbodenhütte and can treat yourself to a hot tea with the Nordic winter sports enthusiasts while enjoying the fantastic view of the Ötscher and the wonderful winter landscape.
Snowshoes (available for rent at Intersport and Sport 2000)

B25 Erlauftal Federal Highway toward Gaming – Grubberg – turnoff toward Lackenhof – Langau/Mairhöfen – 4 km to Lackenhof
Get used to walking in snowshoes before you set out on a walk through deep snow.
