Wonderful ski tour to the highest mountain in the Mostviertel with a fantastic view and refreshment stop at the finish.
From Weitental, the ascent to the Ötscher-Schutzhaus leads along an ascent route next to the piste and through the forest. Descent via Riffelsattel or directly via (black) piste 1 back to the valley.
ABSOLUTELY OBSERVE OPERATING TIMES, SLOPE CLOSINGS and ASCENT ROUTES/TIMES!!

Motorway exit A1 Ybbs/Wieselburg - via B25 Erlauftal federal road, Gaming, Langau to Lackenhof am Ötscher
Scheibbs train station - bus connection to Lackenhof
Return after a short descent to Riffelsattel, continue over the ridge to Kleiner Ötscher (approx. 30 minutes ascent) and back via the Distel slope.
